Two top speakers will address the 19th annual Dossier User Group conference Oct. 24 and 25 at the Hilton Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. The Dossier board reports that fleet maintenance guru Darry Stuart, general chairman
of the Technology and Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Associations (TMC) and Joseph Dunne, director of education for the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA).
The Dossier Users Group is an independent organization of fleet professionals who use Dossier Fleet Maintenance Management Software.
Stuart is president of DWS Fleet Management Services of Wrentham, Mass., a consulting firm that works with client fleets as an on-premises trouble shooter and problem solver to drive change as if on the client's staff.
Dunne directs NAFA's education efforts including the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager Program, fleet management seminars and education efforts such as NAFA's online educational information portal, www.fleeted.org.
The 2007 Dossier User Group will feature expert panels on three important topics:
• Fleet budgeting
• Equipment life cycling
• Technician and driver management, including hiring and retention
The topics were selected through an email survey of Dossier software customer fleets conducted in February by Dossier developer, Arsenault Associates. More than 200 fleets participated in the survey.
"We have responded to the needs expressed by our customers," Charles Arsenault, CEO of Arsenault Associates said. "The selected topics are of serious interest to maintenance managers throughout our industry. These informative give-and-take panel sessions benefit all, including the panelists themselves."
Arsenault has provided maintenance management expertise since 1979. Its Dossier software serves a growing customer base of more than 3,000 commercial fleets including small companies, Fortune 100 corporations, schools and government agencies that operate more than 400,000 pieces of equipment. Dossier manages a variety of vehicles including tractors, trailers, trucks, buses and autos, plus construction and material handling equipment. For more information, visit www.arsenault.biz.
