Rush Enterprises Inc., which operates the largest network of heavy-duty and medium-duty truck dealerships in North America and a John Deere construction equipment dealership in Houston, Texas, has acquired Fouts Bros. UD-GMC Inc.,
a GMC, UD, Hino and Isuzu medium-duty truck dealer in Smyrna, Ga.
This acquisition marks Rush’s entrance into the state of Georgia. Rush will operate this dealership as a full-service Rush Medium Duty Truck Center offering medium-duty GMC, UD, Hino and Isuzu trucks, parts, and service. The purchase price for this acquisition was about $9.3 million, which was paid in cash.

The company has developed its Rush Truck Centers and its Rush Equipment Center as “one-stop centers” where its customers can purchase new or used trucks or construction equipment, purchase insurance products, purchase aftermarket parts and accessories and have service performed by certified technicians.
