Paccar Leasing Co. (PacLease) has published a newsletter detailing technology changes in 2007 and how full-service truck leasing can play an increasing role for private fleets.

The newsletter is the latest in PacLease’s Trends & Outlooks series and examines, in part, how new 2007 engines are designed to meet new EPA regulations. The newsletter discusses the new technology that Peterbilt and Kenworth are bringing to market in 2007, helping lower operational costs for fleets. It provides details about PacLease’s leasing options and shows how PacLease can provide fleets unique opportunities to take full advantage of new truck technologies, without the uncertainties associated with buying them. It also explains how PacTrac, PacLease’s new on-board fleet management tool, can help fleets optimize delivery routes, schedules and vehicle tracking.
“Full-service leasing allows companies to comfortably move into 2007 trucks without the worry over how to handle their maintenance,” said Bob Southern, president of Paccar Leasing. “At PacLease, we’re embracing the new technology to be introduced for 2007. We’ve designed our full-service lease programs to reduce our customer’s costs and make their operations more efficient.”
