Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co., a California-based manufacturer of dry freight vans, reefers, flatbeds and Tautliner curtainsided trailers, has announced it has joined the American Trucking Associations (ATA).

With more than 90 years contributing to the success of trucking, Utility Trailer has provided innovative products that meet the evolving needs of today’s truckers. From fuel economy and safety to productivity and durability, Utility continues the tradition started in 1914 by brothers E.W. and H.C. Bennett.
“From the beginning our business has been building trailers, and we still embrace the values and vision expressed by E.W. and H.C. in the early 20th century as we conduct business in the early 21st century,” said Hal Bennett, president of Utility Trailer.
“We have an intense interest in the matters that affect this country, its economy and trucking,” said Craig Bennett, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing. “Because in our view these are steadfastly linked, it seemed natural for us to participate at an even higher level with the ATA to ensure that trucking is on the legislative forefront of innovation, productivity, safety and fuel economy.”
