Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems has announced the release of its Toolbox Software Version 7.01, offering technicians enhanced diagnostic capabilities for Meritor WABCO electronic products.

"Since its introduction in 1999, Toolbox has proven itself to be an effective means of keeping vehicle downtime to a minimum," said Jon Morrison, general manager of Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems. "This latest update accommodates ABS-based stability enhancement systems, as well as other key technologies that are significant to vehicle safety and performance."
Version 7.0 revisions include diagnostic capabilities for two additional functions: electronic stability control diagnostics for tractor ABS and electronically controlled air suspensions (ECAS) for buses. Also incorporated in this update are several new features for the hydraulic power brake (HPB) diagnostics program. A user's manual and documentation on adaptive devices and their functionality with Toolbox are included as well.
Toolbox is currently being utilized for diagnostics/testing on the company's pneumatic anti-lock braking systems (ABS) for trucks/tractors, Roll Stability Control (RSC) for trucks/tractors, trailer ABS, hydraulic ABS, electronic leveling modules (ELM) for tractors, ELM for trailers, and ECAS.
