Interstate Distributor Co. has opened a new terminal in Little Rock, Ark., to support IDC drivers.
The facility, located just off Interstate 440, features full maintenance and fuel services, laundry
facilities, drivers’ lounge, showers and an operations department.
The new terminal complements an existing 40,000-square-foot facility in Lebanon, Tenn. This expansion allows Interstate to reinforce its national presence and strengthen their commitment to drivers by allowing increased driver flexibility and home time.
The Lebanon terminal boasts a state-of-the-art driver facility, full maintenance and fuel services, operations department and recruiting offices. Drivers new to the Interstate family can choose to attend orientation at the Lebanon facility or at the Tacoma, Wash., headquarters.
Interstate Distributor Co. has terminal and yard facilities located in all major markets throughout the United States, western Canada and the Mexican border industry. Established in 1933, IDC currently has more than 3,000 employees and continues to grow.
