The National Alliance of Transportation Educators (NAOTE) is hosting its Trucking Educational Symposium this Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Toledo, Ohio.

This week trucking professionals from all facets of the supply chain will gather for three days of education, training and industry discussions.
Carriers and suppliers can get up to date on the cross border processes and security initiatives by attending the morning and afternoon sessions on Thursday, June 8th. In the evening attendees will enjoy a dinner buffet and take part in roundtable discussions with customs expert Debbie Dent and ACE Ambassador Kent Harper who will represent Customs Border Patrol (CBP) and provide an e-Manifest presentation.
Drivers, owner-operators and career seekers will gather valuable information during the expedited trucking career day on Friday, June 9th. In the evening attendees and others from all facets of the supply chain will enjoy a dinner buffet and take part in group discussions on industry issues with expedite industry expert Linda Yates. Special guest Joe Edmunds, founder of the Jason Edmunds Foundation for Road Safety, will provide a must-see presentation on Road Rage. There will also be a special presentation honoring the 2005 Expediter Of The Year – Randy Cooper – an independent contractor for FedEx Custom Critical.
On Saturday, June 10th, individuals pursuing a career in expediting and carrier representatives can attend the full day Expediter Training Class, a business development class for drivers and owner-operators.
