TravelCenters of America is serving up its new Spice of Life Buffet at nearly 100 TA locations. The improved buffet offers an expanded and enhanced selection of entrees, side dishes and soups.

“Professional drivers and other customers have told us that road fare can become ordinary and monotonous at times, and they crave something tempting and different,” said Paul Huckelberry, vice president of restaurants for TA. “So we listened and created more than 300 new recipes to satisfy their appetites at breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
On the breakfast buffet, guests find a selection of toppings for their eggs and an assortment of fresh fruit and biscuits and gravy – as well as a variety of sausages, bacon, pastries and cereals.
Later in the day, the all-new Good Food Fast Lunch Buffet provides an alternative to fast food with an array that includes Southern Fried Chicken, pastas, casseroles, a variety of vegetables, all beef hot dogs with all the fixin’s and build–your-own specialties like Mexican tacos. Any weekday for $6.99.
Dinner entrees range from Asian Honey Pork Loin and Blackened Cajun Ribs to Stuffed Bell Peppers and Beef Pepper Steak. The medley also includes Italian Sausage and Penne, Pork Chops and Baked Apples, Smoked Sausage and Sauerkraut, Savory Roast Pork Loin, Southern Fried Chicken and more. Specialty theme nights, including Mexican, Italian, Country Classics and Seafood, put the emphasis on classic specialty entrees.
Many locations also feature the Carving Station with freshly sliced roasted beef, ham and turkey.
Side-dish selections include Harvest Potato Casserole, Horseradish and Bacon Mashed Potatoes, Scalloped Potato and Ham Casserole, Cheese Florentine Rice, Cheesy Vegetable Rice, and Fresh Zucchini with Garlic and Tomatoes, as well as fresh homemade soups.
