TransCore, which operates one of North America's largest freight-matching networks, and TripPak Services announced they will bundle document scanning and freight match services for brokers and third-party logistics providers.

This will offer easy access to document scanning services and expedite proof-of-delivery reconciliation necessary when a driver delivers a load to when shippers ultimately provide payment.
The agreement establishes TransCore as the exclusive reseller of ACS' FreightForm Express, utilizing the TripPak Scanning software and infrastructure currently in place in more than 350 full-service truckstops nationally.
"TransCore's relationship with more than 15,000 customers is grounded on trust, service and dependability, knowing we'll deliver products that accelerate efficiency," said John Worthington, president of TransCore. "By linking two mainstay services and making a document-scanning resource readily available to brokers, we condense a labor- and time-consuming reimbursement process and provide the ease of one-stop shopping."
FreightForm Express creates an uncomplicated, accurate way for brokers to distribute their special handling instructions that drivers follow to help ensure trip documents are scanned promptly and even shared with multiple parties. With this technology, brokers will receive proof-of-delivery documents much quicker, which will ultimately allow them to reduce the time between shipment delivery and the invoicing of the shipper.
FreightForm Express utilizes ACS' proprietary TripPak Scanning software to provide a number of enhanced electronic tools and imaging capabilities. These include both a cashier-assisted and a kiosk-based scanning service to expedite the collection and processing of proof-of-delivery documents and other records. Used by large and small transportation companies, FreightForm Express tailors the TripPak Scanning services to the broker marketplace, allowing a carrier to scan documents at a TripPak-equipped truck stop and quickly transmit to the broker the required paperwork.
