Comdata Corp. has announced it has joined the American Trucking Associations to work more closely with its industry counterparts in advancing the interests of trucking.   

Scott Phillips, senior vice president and general manager of the Brentwood, Tenn., transportation services provider, said, "Comdata looks forward to partnering with the ATA to develop solutions that meet the needs of the industry." 
Comdata is a leading financial and data transaction processor that specializes in trust-enabled payment transactions including, among others, controlled spending, purchasing, payroll, cash card and similar transactions for employers and employees. Comdata has been providing transaction and payment services for nearly 37 years and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceridian Corp.
