Wabash National Corp. has selected ArvinMeritor as its standard equipment supplier for hubs and brake drums.
The contract covers 2006 and 2007 with an estimated annual value of $20 million. Wabash has specified the Meritor Lite WP ductile iron hub, SteelLite X30 drum and full cast brake drum.
The complete Meritor-brand trailer undercarriage is backed by the company’s extensive field support and engineering teams, as well as inherent benefits of the individual components. The components will be manufactured at ArvinMeritor’s Carrollton and Franklin, Ky., facilities.
