J.S. (Jim) McReynolds, general manager, on-highway engines, Caterpillar Power Systems North America, will launch Dialogue ’06 with a presentation on the challenges faced in the highly cyclical HD commercial vehicle business.

HD Dialogue ’06 is slated for Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at The Mirage, Las Vegas, Nev.
Dialogue ’06, presented by the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), will be held the day before the opening of the first-ever Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, Jan. 24-Jan. 27 at the Mirage.
McReynolds leads all aspects of worldwide sales, marketing and product support of Caterpillar’s on-highway engine products. A 24-year Caterpillar veteran, McReynolds began his career in parts sales in 1981. He rose quickly through the ranks and has held numerous management positions over the years, including sales positions in Europe and the Middle East. Most recently, he served as a product manager of large mining trucks and shovels in Caterpillar’s Global Mining Division. McReynolds has served in his current role since 2002.
The Heavy Duty Dialogue program, including breakfast, lunch and a reception, runs from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. The program conference will include industry and government leaders such as:

HD Dialogue 2006 registration fees are $495 for HDMA member companies’ first registrant and $445 for each additional representative. Registration for individuals whose firms or organizations are not HDMA members is $595 for the first registrant and $545 for each additional representative. Attendees who are participating in HDAW can receive an addition $100 discount off HD Dialogue registration.
