Frank Sonzala, executive vice president of Pressure Systems International was elected to the executive board of Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) as vice chair for 2006
during the group’s annual Intermodal Expo and membership meeting.
Sonzala, recently reelected to a second 3-year term to the board of directors of IANA, representing the Supplier Division, also served in 2005 as secretary/treasurer of the organization and as a member of the Executive Nominating, Maintenance and Operations committees. For the past 20 years, Sonzala has played an active role in IANA, leading important initiatives including the formation of the Technical Advisory Committee and organizing the Innovative Intermodal Symposium presented at the June 2005 Intermodal Operations and Maintenance Seminar.
Sonzala explained his on-going involvement with IANA in a recent message to his constituents, “I believe that in the future our organization will be continually challenged to bring to our industry the quality of service that it will require and I’m committed to carry on the work we’ve started.”
