Cargo Transporters Inc. has joined the American Trucking Associations to work more closely with its trucking industry counterparts.
John Pope, president and chief executive officer of the Claremont, N.C. -based carrier, said, “Cargo Transporters is pleased to join ATA to help play a role in finding solutions to challenges facing the trucking industry.”
Trucking, he said, needed to speak with one voice to address urgent issues facing the industry. “It’s time for motor carriers, including Cargo Transporters, to participate in advancing the interests of trucking through ATA,” he said.
