Truck Show Latino continues to draw enthusiastic truckers to the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif., where the first-ever event draws to a close Saturday.

The show is also creating excitement among the exhibitors, many who have already signed up for next year’s event. The general feeling is that this is a needed show that will grow each year to become a major show, according to show organizers. Many exhibitors said they are please to be a part of the first TSL and are very happy with meeting the targeted audience at their booths.
Visitors enjoy a unique trade show experience upon approaching the exhibit hall in Pomona. Outside, situated among the palm trees at the entrance to the hall, is a selection of dazzling show trucks participating in the first Stars & Stripes non-competition truck beauty show. Working big rigs that average more than 100,000 miles per year, and coming from as far away as Florida, have traveled to the first TSL to share their custom truck creations with the many Hispanic visitors. This visual experience has created an exciting entrance to the show.
The show features a recruitment center that gives visitors a chance to check out opportunities with fleets that are hiring owner-operators, drivers and small operations.
Related activities include strolling mariachis and prizes for early arrivals.
Truck Show Latino has been promoted through the leading Spanish language newspapers and radio stations in the greater Los Angeles area. It is a joint venture of Independent Truck Show Management LLC and Newport Communications Group, which publishes Heavy Duty Trucking and RoadStar magazines.
Show hours today are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event features more than 140 exhibits.
Admission is free with a ticket, and $10 without a ticket. There is ample parking, and the two Ontario, Calif.-area Travel Centers of America offer free shuttles to truckers who may leave their rigs at the travel centers.
