A Hendrickson China engineering and sales office has opened its doors in Shanghai, China, with Jack Liang as chief representative.

“The opening of our engineering and sales office represents an important step in establishing a local presence and exposing the Hendrickson brand to provide a foundation for full-scale business operations in China and the East Asia Region,” said Keith Stephenson, Hendrickson chief development officer and president of international operations.
As chief representative, Liang leads the Hendrickson sales and marketing programs, while plans call for the addition of a sales engineer and an applications engineer to support current truck, bus and trailer projects.
“With China expected to produce more than 2.2 million commercial vehicles in the next three years, it represents an extremely important market,” Stephenson added. “This is the first step in establishing a broad Hendrickson presence in China.”
Hendrickson, a Boler company, is one of the largest global suppliers of truck and tractor suspensions, trailer suspensions, truck and trailer lift axles, bumpers and trim components and springs to the commercial transportation industry.
