Ol’ Blue, USA (United Safety Alliance Inc.) will be an exhibitor at Truck Show Latino, scheduled Oct. 13-15, 2005 at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif.

The inaugural show is touted as the only major U.S. truck show designed especially for Hispanic/Latino truckers.
Ol’ Blue, USA will have its “Safety Center ‘06” at Booth #761, which is directly across the aisle from the California Highway Patrol in Booth #561. The Safety Center combines the resources of Ol’ Blue, USA with state and local law enforcement agencies to further promote large vehicle safety.
Visitors to the Safety Center will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of safety, maintenance, law enforcement and government personnel in one central location and in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Hourly demonstrations will enable truckers and other interested parties to take part in large vehicle safety, maintenance, logbook, pre-trip and roadside inspections.
“Ol’ Blue, USA is the only organization of its kind to provide these types of demonstrations at trade shows,” said the organization’s founder RJ Taylor. “Safety is the No. 1 concern among drivers today, and that is the sole purpose behind Ol’ Blue, USA - People Working Together for Highway Safety.”
Founded in 1986, Ol’ Blue, USA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to highway safety education, and to improving relations between the motoring public, law enforcement and commercial drivers. It works toward these goals by conducting free programs at truck industry events, truckstops, community events and public schools around the country, and through its various programs on trucker’s radio heard throughout North America.
These programs take place during Ol’ Blue, USA’s annual Safety Tour with its 1951 tractor and 53-foot “rolling billboard” trailer. This trailer showcases sponsor logos and serves as the stage for the Ol’ Blue team’s mock truck inspections and other safety demonstrations.
“I hope truckers won’t miss out on this opportunity to stop by the Ol’ Blue, USA Safety Center at the Truck Show Latino and meet with the personnel who can make their job safer and easier,” Taylor said.
