The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) and The National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) have set the dates for the co-located 2005 IANA Intermodal Expo and NITL TransComp.

This event will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Nov. 12-15, 2005. IANA and NITL will also hold their annual membership meetings in conjunction with the event while the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) will conduct its fall meeting at this time.
This year’s event will begin with John P. Wiehoff, CEP and director of C.H. Robinson providing attendees with the joint opening session and industry keynote address.
Other notable meeting elements include: issues forums designed to address industry concerns; dedicated educational sessions that will focus on key topics facing carriers, shippers, and intermediaries; and, “Hooray for Hollywood!” a specially-themed reception – along with an array of door prizes – that will be “produced and directed” on the trade show floor Monday evening.
The closing general session will feature David Gergen, former White House official, noted political analyst, and editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report.
In addition, attendees will be offered a trade show floor overflowing with equipment, technology and services designed to improve the bottom line of attendees’ businesses. Trade show hours for the 2005 Intermodal Expo and TransComp 2005 will be: Sunday, Nov. 13, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.; Monday, Nov. 14, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. & 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.; and Tuesday, Nov. 15, 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
