Rush Enterprises has announced it will open the Rush Truck Center in Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 7, 2005, to serve the heavy and medium duty truck markets.

The facility is located on I-24, and with more than 10 acres of customer parking.
Rush operates the largest network of Peterbilt heavy-duty truck dealerships in North America with 45 locations across the U.S. and has been in business since 1965.
The Rush Truck Center in Nashville will feature:
New and used truck sales offering more than $10 million in truck inventory.
Service department will occupy 55,000 square feet of air-conditioned space and provide 40 bays to work on Class 8 and medium-duty trucks in comfort. Its wireless designed shop area will allow the techs to focus on repairing trucks while the parts are delivered to the bays, saving customers time and money.
Parts department will occupy 27,000 square feet of air-conditioned storage and more than $2.5 million of inventory to better service the fleet and owner/operator markets. The ease of coming and going from the parts department will enable customers to save time, thus getting them back on the road quickly.
Body shop will occupy 27,500 square feet and include 16 bays, a frame machine and Global Finishing Solutions 81.5 foot split cabin downdraft paint booth and two direct fired/direct drive air make up units to provide the best quality paint job available.
Driver’s lounge will feature two big-screen TV’s, leather lounge chairs, men and women’s restrooms and a kitchen area with all the conviences
Chrome country at will be the latest and most complete chrome shop serving the heavy duty truck market.
Finally, Rush Rush Truck Leasing will offer a wide range of services including contract maintenance, rentals, insurance, fuel programs, emergency road service, safety programs, custom painting, licensing, permitting, tire service and more.
