In the event of a kidnapping, a hidden microphone can be activated to listen as to what happening in the vehicle.
The wireless device, installed in a hidden location in the vehicle, can be programmed to issue an alert in the event of a vehicle theft, movement, travel outside of a pre-determined area, travel to a specific location or any other criteria. In the event the vehicle is moved without turning on the ignition, an alarm is immediately sent. Using a stand-alone or web-based interface, users can query a vehicle for its location along with information such as airbag deployment, theft alarm status, speed, direction and time idling.
The Panther Trak Web-based interface relays data received from the vehicle mounted device, using information obtained from the GPS. All messages originating from Panther Trak are time-stamped, and a mathematical algorithm is used to ensure delivery of critical messages. Customers can access information from anywhere in the world and can be alerted on their cell phone, internet or email.
