Truck-specific routes and mileages for rate determination and quotes, trip cost and time estimates, dispatch, driver pay, fuel tax reporting, driver log auditing, load planning, carrier selection, freight bill auditing and logistics analysis.

PC*MILER 19 is reliable, easy-to-use software that provides routing and mapping as well as accurate mileage for billing and settlement, the core of most commercial and private trucking operations. It interfaces with virtually all other truck enterprise and operations software products.
PC*MILER 19 has been upgraded to include over 756,000 miles of truck-specific highways and 350,000 miles of truck restrictions, including a complete update of 80,000-pound weight, 13-foot, 6-inch height, 102-inch width and 48- and 53-foot trailer length restrictions. The new version includes 3,800 additional miles of truck restricted North American roadway and thousands of truck restriction enhancements.
New PC*MILER 19 features and enhancements include:
* Driver Report prints detailed driving directions in easy-to-read, large text with maps of each stop location, all with a mouse click.
* Language Translation prints driver report directions in Spanish or French as well as English.
* Map Styles includes a new design that magnifies the difference between road types, but users can toggle between the new view and the classic PC*MILER screen.
* Map Panning eases the movement of maps on the computer screen for efficient viewing – making digital maps as convenient as print.
* Hazmat Restrictions for Canada includes trans-Canadian highway data for major bridges and tunnels.
* Average Road Speeds brings up a dialog box that offers times of day for more accurate arrival time estimates. For example, midday average speeds of, say, 35 mph may contrast with overnight averages of 65 mph.
PC* MILER 19 includes all 2005 five-digit U.S. ZIP Codes -- over 41,000. More than 789,700 Canadian Postal Codes are available in a data add-on module. PC*MILER 19 offers approved rating and billing distances for the U.S. Department of Defense and General Services Administration, which have adopted PC*MILER as their standard.
PC*MILER 19 enables users to re-sequence an unlimited number of stops for efficient route planning and also allows the combination of shortest or practical routing with toll-discouraged, 53-foot trailer or national network routing. In hub mode, PC*MILER 19 enables routing and mileage generation from one point to any number of destinations.
Users can select specific road segments and entire areas to either favor or avoid for routing purposes. Similarly, users can select to manually override some truck-restricted routes depending on the type of truck involved – a light delivery truck or a flatbed, for example. PC*MILER allows fleet users to import customer location information to eliminate manual trip entry. For example, a fleet could import a series of individual store locations that can then be selected with a mouse click for easier mileage and route generation.
PC*MILER runs on an off-the-shelf personal computer or server, in Windows, Unix, Linux and other operating systems. There are also versions for AS/400 midrange and mainframe platforms.
