Volvo Trucks North America Inc., Greensboro, N.C., announced employees represented by the United Auto Workers have ratified new three-year labor agreements.
The contracts cover about 2,800 members of UAW Local #2069 at the New River Valley, Va. plant where the Volvo VN and VHD trucks are assembled. Effective date of the pacts is February 1, 2005; expiration date is January 31, 2008.
