SiriCOMM Inc., a broadband wireless software and network infrastructure solutions company, announced last week that it raised $1.6 million through a private placement
conducted as a unit offering. Each unit consisted of one share of common stock and a warrant to purchase one additional share within five years. Sunflower Capital LLC, an Overland Park, Kan. based investment fund beneficially owned by William P. Moore and a significant SiriCOMM shareholder, increases the institutional awareness in SiriCOMM.
Hank Hoffman, SiriCOMM's CEO, commented, "Sunflower's support will accelerate the Company's network infrastructure installations and new product roll-out. We expect to more than double SiriCOMM's nationwide wireless network coverage in the near term."
The proceeds secured by this financing will be used to further build the company's nationwide network, to deploy its software and as working capital for general operations. For more information, go to www.siricomm.com.
