Trucking's good friend Mike Russell, vice president for public affairs & press secretary for the American Trucking Associations -- and a whiz with words -- was kind enough to pass on the preceding weekend traffic alert
from the Wilson Bridge Project to his friends in trucking media.
Russell stressed that the traffic alert is of "critical importance to the trucking industry as 15-17,000 trucks pass through the Wilson Bridge corridor daily."
And to stress the point, Russell composed what is easily the headline of the year so far:
A MAJOR BIG TIME HEADS-UP! SERIOUS BONZO PANIC-LEVEL INTERSTATE CLOSURES SET FOR WASHINGTON, D.C. - NO. VIRGINIA AREA THIS WEEKEND.
We stand in awe.
