Peterbilt Motors Co. announced that its dealer network has reached a record level with 222 locations in the U.S. and Canada.

“Peterbilt has and will continue to strategically grow its dealer network to best meet the needs of its customers. We added seven locations in 2004 and there will be continued expansion in the years to come,” said Dan Sobic, Peterbilt general manager and Paccar vice president.
Of the seven locations added in 2004, five are full service (sales, parts and service) and two are parts stores.
Five full service locations opened in 2004 were:
• Peterbilt Pacific in Abbotsford, British Columbia
• JDH Peterbilt du Lac St-Jean in St-Felicien, Quebec, Canada
• Peterbilt Red Deer in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada
• Peterbilt of Waterloo in Ayr, Ontario, Canada
• Standard Peterbilt-O’Hare in Des Plaines, Ill.
Parts stores opened in 2004 are:
• Peterbilt of Bismark in Bismarck, N.D.
• Peterbilt of Wroxeter in Wroxeter, Ontario, Canada
Peterbilt Pacific and JDH Peterbilt du Lac St-Jean opened completely new facilities; Peterbilt Red Deer opened an entirely renovated facility. In addition to the new locations, Elliott-Wilson Capitol Peterbilt Trucks in Manassas, Va., relocated to a new facility and Rush Peterbilt Truck Center-Haines City in Haines City, Fla., and Rush Peterbilt Truck Center-Austin in Buda, Texas, relocated to upgraded facilities.
