Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC of Nashville, Tenn., and Ryder System Inc. have extended an agreement for tire supplies which began in 1990.
According to the agreement, Bridgestone will supply Ryder with new tires and Bandag Inc. will provide Ryder with retread services. Since 1990, Ryder has purchased over 4.9 million original equipment and replacement tires, a number totaling nearly 1,000 tires a day.
