Con-Way Transportation Services Inc. Ann Arbor, Mich., has appointed Michael "Mike" D. Yuenger vice president/controller. Con-Way Transportation is a subsidiary of CNF Inc.

Yuenger will be responsible for the company's overall financial reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis, capital expenditure review and planning, asset management, and administrative services.
Yuenger joined the Con-Way organization in 1991 as controller for Con-Way Central Express (CCX) where he was responsible for financial planning and forecasting, accounting, and analysis. The costing and planning functions at CCX also reported to him.
Yuenger has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry including positions in strategic planning, corporate finance, and accounting and financial analysis. Prior to joining Con-Way, he served as controller and treasurer for a regional less-than-truckload carrier based in Wisconsin where his responsibilities included corporate finance, insurance, tax, business planning and financial reporting. He also served as an audit and tax supervisor for Wipfli, Ullrich & Bertleson, a large regional CPA firm based in central and northern Wisconsin.
Yuenger is based at Con-Way's headquarters in Ann Arbor and reports to Douglas W. Stotlar, Con-Way president and chief executive officer.
