ArvinMeritor Inc. has received a leadership award for its work in virtual product development from MSC.Software Corp.

The award was given at MSC's 2004 MSC Virtual Product Development Conference held in Huntington Beach, Calif.
"This award is given to ArvinMeritor for its outstanding leadership in advancing the implementation of virtual product development tools and processes to improve product performance in the automotive industry," said Frank Perna, chairman and CEO of MSC.Software. product development process."
The two-day MSC.Software conference was attended by more than 650 engineers,
managers, directors and company executives from more than 70 U.S. and foreign companies. Awards were given to 18 companies in three categories.
