Flatbed carrier KTL, Joplin, Mo., named driver trainer Bill Hodges the Trainer of the Year for 2004.
Hodges has been with the company since June 2001.
According to the KTL release, Hodges was chosen for the award because of superior performance as a driver trainer. The Trainer Award Program is based on a scale that awards points for being accident-free, incident-free, retaining driver trainees, displaying a positive attitude, being claim-free and displaying proper load securement.
KTL similarly recognized Juan Thomas with the KTL Trainer of the Quarter Award for the fourth quarter of 2004.
KTL is owned by Annett Holdings Inc.
