The Assn. of Diesel Specialists will present an electrical training school on Tuesday, March 22, through Friday, March 25, in Las Vegas, Nev.

The course begins with Electrical I, an in-depth discussion of electrical theory, on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 22-23. The relationship of voltage, amperage and resistance in circuits is presented and practiced in hands-on circuit assembly of series and parallel circuits.
The series continues with Electrical II on Thursday and Friday, March 24-25. This section will introduce the operation of relays and transistorized circuit operation. Technicians will assemble circuits on electrical boards. Diode and capacitor circuits will be discussed and assembled.
All classes are instructed by Tony Salas of Performance Automotive Techniques. Salas is ASE master certified and holds a degree in automotive technology. A former ACDelco and GM trainer, he has a diverse training experience in the corporate and post-secondary sectors.
Registration for the four-day school for ADS members is $945 per person, $1,550 for nonmembers. The deadline to participate is Tuesday, March 8. Registration fee includes training, manuals, handouts, service information usage, refreshment breaks and lunches for all four days.
