LTL carrier Con-Way Central Express, also known as CCX, has appointed Peter "Pete" J. Eisengruber controller effective immediately.

Eisengruber succeeds Michael D. Yuenger who was recently appointed controller of Con-Way.
Eisengruber is responsible for financial planning and forecasting, accounting and analysis, and the company's costing and planning functions. Eisengruber joined Con-Way in 1998 as manager of financial planning and analysis. He previously served as director of business and finance for a Midwest business unit of Cendant Corporation. He also held numerous financial positions at Waste Management Inc.
Eisengruber holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame and is a certified public accountant. He is based at CCX's offices in Ann Arbor, Mich., and reports to David S. McClimon, president and chief executive officer of CCX.
CCX is an operating company of Con-Way Transportation Services Inc., which is in turn a subsidiary of CNF Inc.
