Schneider National Inc. announced Friday that Dan Van Alstine has been named senior vice president of sales effective immediately.
Van Alstine served as area vice president at Schneider’s headquarters in Green Bay, Wis. He joined Schneider in 1981 as the manager of the extended coverage team, and was subsequently promoted to production supervisor in 1982 before becoming the regional manager of sales and marketing in Kansas City, Mo.
Van Alstine held several managerial positions at Transport America, Transtar Inc. and North American Van Lines. Van Alstine holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis.
