Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc., Bloomfield, Conn., reported that fourth quarter sales of its Prophesy DispatchSeries solution increased 37%
increase over 4th Quarter 2003, fueled by the introduction of a mobile communications offering in October. Overall Prophesy’s 2004 sales saw a 20% increase over 2003.
Prophesy introduced TrackerDispatch, a mobile communications and tracking system that allows dispatchers to exchange location and itinerary information with drivers, and account for every fleet vehicle in real-time. The system works with Java/GPS-enabled Nextel phones.
Prophesy TrackerDispatch integrates with dispatch, freight rating, driver settlements, freight billing, driver check calls, driver advances, asset tracking, commercial mileage & routing, fuel-tax reporting, integrated management reporting, vehicle maintenance & repair and basic brokerage functionality.
