Hill Brothers Transportation Inc., Omaha, Neb., increased driver pay for both company drivers and owner-operators as Jan.1.
For company drivers, the current safety bonus and fuel bonus programs double from current amounts. In addition, the company is adding a mileage bonus to reward drivers who run over 34,500 miles each quarter.
“Our new wage package will increase the annual earnings for the safe, dependable drivers in our fleet by more than $3,300 per year,” said Jolene Jankowski, director of safety.
The mileage rate for owner-operators has increased by $.01, and the safety bonus has been doubled. According to Abbie Reed, owner operator program administrator, “We wanted to show our appreciation to our entire fleet, not just the company drivers. Our owner operators should be able to add more than $3000 to the bottom line in 2005.”
Hill Brothers is a family owned and operated business with opportunities for company drivers and owner operators. The company offers a lease purchase program for those interested in buying a truck of their own.
