DeLorme, the mapping company, announced two GPS products at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week.
DeLorme To Offer $99 Laptop GPS

The Earthmate LT-20 is a new high-sensitivity device that turns any laptop PC into a GPS navigator. The LT-20 will sell for $99.95 with Street Atlas USA 2005 software included.
Delorme said the Earthmate GPS LT-20 offers fast satellite acquisition times, noise reduction and premium performance. Earthmate LT-20 will ship in April 2005 and will be available both at retail and direct from DeLorme.
The second product, Earthmate GPS PN-20, brings DeLorme mapping software to a dedicated, handheld GPS designed specifically to optimize map displays. The GPS PN-20 supports routing and tracking and users can download maps and routes from DeLorme desktop products, including: Topo USA 5.0, Street Atlas USA 2005, XMap 4.5, XMap GIS Editor, and a new worldwide software program planned for release later in the year.
The ruggedly built Earthmate GPS PN-20 will have a target retail price of $199.95 including world base map software.
Earthmate GPS PN-20 will be available in July 2005 at www.delorme.com.
