Trucking enterprise software provider McLeod Software announced the company will add 40 additional software professionals to its staff within the next six months.

Increased staffing results from increased sales of McLeod’s flagship LoadMaster management software to current and new customers.
“We have already hired 10 new people since August,” said Tom McLeod, President of McLeod Software.
McLeod noted a number of reasons for increased sales. The improved economy has encouraged carriers to grow their fleets. Also, the desire of carriers to improve customer service and operate more efficiently has also motivated them to update software and hardware.
New staff positions for McLeod include programmers, project managers, support account managers and software quality assurance analysts. “Expanding our professional staff will improve our ability to accelerate our software product development and further improve the services we deliver,” said McLeod.
