Flying J said Tuesday that it will honor any outstanding balance of service remaining on Truckstop.net accounts held by professional drivers.
According to the Flying J press release, current Truckstop.net subscribers can connect at one of the more than 285 Flying J hotspot locations nationwide to take advantage of the offer.
Truckstop.net Wi-Fi service was halted at the company’s 500 or so locations last month by Sprint in a dispute over contracts and payment. A Truckstop.net press release last week said service continues at 122 locations, many of them at Love’s Truck Stops.
According to the Flying J web site at www.tonservices.com/wifi.htm, drivers must buy a Flying J Wi-Fi subscription to get credit for their remaining Truckstop.net accounts. The company offers a monthly subscription for $19.95 a month and requires a six-month commitment to credit up to six months of service. The Flying J annual plan that costs $199.95 can provide up to 12 months credit.
Annual Truckstop.net subscriptions had been priced at $299.95. The company provides refund information on its web site at www.truckstop.net.
