Carrier's Best Friend? TMW Unleashes The Dawg

Trucking enterprise management software provider TMW Systems Inc., Beachwood, Ohio, has introduced a business performance watchdog application.

The product TMW calls The Dawg is a business activity monitoring tool that scans every transaction and automatically flags exceptions so carriers can take immediate corrective action.
According to the company, The Dawg works with ResultsNow by TMW, a web-based performance monitoring application that constantly measures and reports the carrier’s performance against key performance indicators. For example, The Dawg can send a real-time alert if accumulated empty miles for a dispatched vehicle will exceed 400 miles. This affords time to question the decision and the opportunity to revise the load plan if necessary.
