Kenworth Truck Co. said it is extending a successful rebate program with the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Assn. (OOIDA) through 2005.

Introduced nearly three years ago, the program offers a $1,000 rebate to OOIDA members on qualifying purchases of new Kenworth trucks with 72-inch or larger sleepers. Buyers must show their OOIDA membership card to their Kenworth dealer at time of purchase.
"Kenworth is pleased to extend this $1,000 rebate in cooperation with OOIDA," said Gary L. Moore, Kenworth assistant general manager for sales and marketing. "Owner-operators are very important customers for Kenworth and we appreciate their loyalty to premium Kenworth models such as the W900L and the T2000."
Other limitations apply. See a Kenworth dealer or visit the "Promotions" section at www.kenworth.com for complete details.
OOIDA was founded 31 years ago as an advocacy group for owner-operators and independent truck drivers and currently has more than 116,000 members. OOIDA’s web site is at www.ooida.com.
