Now Allied Van Lines is pulling TV’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” band wagon.
Allied Van Lines in Prime Time

In a press release last week, the Chicago-based household goods carrier said it will be moving a deserving Seattle area family for the ABC TV hit show. According to the release, “Continental Van Lines in Seattle will move and store the Dore family’s belongings, as their fire-damaged home is renovated. Continental will provide up to 20 professional movers and packers to sort all the family’s items and transport them to storage – in only five hours. Then, as the house renovation is completed seven days later, Continental will move the family back into their Kingston, Wash., home.”
Back in September it was the turn of ABF Freight System Inc., Fort Smith, Ark. to announce it was providing freight transportation and logistical support for the same show.
Each Extreme Makeover episode features an entire house being completely renovated in seven days by a team of designers and craftsmen directed by team leader and carpenter Ty Pennington. Extreme Makeover airs Thursdays evenings.
