The Used Truck Assn. has reached and passed its goal of 500 members.

At the January board of director's retreat in Kansas City, Mo., UTA president Eddie Walker set a membership goal of 500 members by Dec. 31, 2004. Membership committee chair Ethan Nadolson, Granville, Ohio, passed the 500 mark Oct. 14th with 505 active members.
Marvin F. Gordon, editor of The Truck Blue Book, conceived the idea of an organization for the used truck industry in 1987. After several organizational meetings, the Used Truck Sales Network, the precursor to the UTA, was chartered May 16, 1988, and annual meetings were scheduled in Chicago.
