Dates for next year’s International Trucking Show (ITS) have changed.

The show’s producers announced that dates for the 2005 show now include an attendee-rich Saturday.
The California Trucking Assn. said that dates and times for the 2005 ITS, to be held at the Anaheim (Calif.) Convention Center, are:
• Thursday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 10, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The 2005 ITS had been scheduled for Wednesday through Friday. The dates were shifted after this year’s show, which featured the long lines, big crowds and packed show floor aisles on Saturday, Sept. 25.
“We saw what succeeded spectacularly this year, and we’re listening and responding to our exhibitors and attendees,” said Joel D. Anderson, executive vice president/CEO of the California Trucking Assn. “Our goal is nothing less than to make the International Trucking Show the preeminent trucking show west of the Mississippi River, and we’ll continue to work closely with our exhibitors to achieve that.”
The 2004 ITS drew more than 15,000 registered attendees, including a final day crowd on Saturday that packed the Anaheim Convention Center. This year, the show returned to Anaheim, the heart of western trucking, after seven years in Las Vegas.
Produced for the first time by the California Trucking Association, the new-look ITS broke the mold for truck shows by attracting both large fleet buyers and the micro fleet buyer into a single three-day event. Thursday and Friday drew fleet-oriented buyers. Saturday drew long lines and large crowds of micro fleet and industry employees.
