Frito Lay Selects Intermec

Intermec Technologies Corp., Everett, Wash., announced it will supply handheld computers, mobile printers and related equipment to Frito Lay and the PepsiCo Business Solutions Group for its new

"Precision Execution" delivery selling system in North America.
The mobile computing system combines mobile computers, printers and communications capabilities in a platform for the direct-store-delivery industry. Deployment is scheduled to begin in first quarter 2005.
Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo Inc., makes and delivers Lay's potato chips, Ruffles potato chips, Doritos tortilla chips, Tostitos tortilla chips, Cheetos cheese-flavored snacks and many more products.
Intermec Technologies Corp., develops and manufactures wired and wireless automated data collection, Intellitag RFID (radio frequency identification), mobile computing systems, bar code printers and label media.
