More than 34,000 truck enthusiasts visited the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania for the 14th annual Carlisle All-Truck Nationals last weekend.

A new judging system was introduced at the show. "This year, drive-up judging was offered for the first time, with each truck scored on a 100-point system. There will be some changes next year, but overall, we felt this provided participants a better judging system than in the past," said Lisa Leathery, director of event planning and management.
The Big Rig Show Field featured the most attractive working and non-working tractor-trailers. Chris Lewis won the Best of Show Working award with his 1999 Peterbilt, and Randy Brown’s 1969 Peterbilt won Best of Show Non-Working.
Two of the biggest names in the monster truck world - Bigfoot and Samson -performed stunts all weekend. Also, the Virginia Giant ride truck gave attendees the chance to see what it feels like to ride on a monster truck.
The 2005 edition of the Carlisle All-Truck Nationals takes place Aug. 5-7, 2005.
