Syniverse Technologies, Tampa, Fla., has entered a Wi-Fi roaming agreement with Truckstop.net
, a provider of Wi-Fi service at some 500 North American truckstops.
The roaming agreement is part of Syniverse's Mobile Data Services and is designed to simplify the business and technical relationships among operators and venues offering Wi-Fi to their own and visiting subscribers.
"This roaming agreement will provide Truckstop.net and Syniverse customers with secure wireless access to our Wi-Fi-enabled truckstops and travel plazas, including Petro, Love's, Pilot and many other owned and operated locations," said Scott Moscrip, CEO of Truckstop.net.
*With Syniverse's relationships with wireless operators, we intend to form additional roaming agreements to expand our footprint, resulting in a seamless Wi-Fi experience for travelers throughout North America."
