Gainey, Four Other Fleets Select Skybitz
: Gainey Transportation, Sun Belt Transportation Inc., MXLX Movers, Brakebush Transportation Inc. and the Trott Group Inc.
All five fleets are installing SkyBitz’s Global Locating System technology, or GLS.
Michigan-based Gainey Transportation is outfitting its entire fleet with SkyBitz’s GLS technology -- some 4,000 unit. Gainey provides trucking throughout the continental United States.
“During a brief, flawless trial run, we saw immediate benefits from the SkyBitz’s GLS technology. In addition, the simplicity of the product’s design and the ease of installation were definitely factors in our choice,” said Brent Jordan, executive vice president, Gainey Transportation.
MXLX Movers is a California-based dry van carrier. Sun Belt Transportation, Inc. is a long-haul truckload carrier based in Texas. Brakebush Transportation Inc., of Wisconsin is a private reefer fleet. Trott Group Inc. is based in Shelbyville, Tenn.
SkyBitz’s GLS mobile communicator is compact, simple to install and provides multiyear battery life.
