The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) has scheduled its second annual National Safety Conference for Sept. 16 - 17, 2004 at the Hyatt Hotel
at Dulles International Airport just outside of Washington, D.C.
"Private fleets have worked hard to earn a reputation for unsurpassed safety excellence," said Gary Petty, President and CEO of NPTC. "Programs such as the National Safety Conference, in which leaders from throughout the industry share their insights and perspectives, are one of the reasons why."
This highly acclaimed conference features a unique format of presentations, discussions with key government representatives, expert panels and problem solving workshops -- all of which will provide attendees with insights into implementing strategic safety programs.

The program, which also features a tabletop exhibit and numerous networking opportunities, will focus on the following topics

--Applying proven management techniques to safety and security
--Benchmarking safety programs against NPTC's On-Line Best Practices Program
--Developing a strategic safety communication plan
--Regulatory updates
--Technology reviews that will deliver both safety and productivity results
--Implementing effective safety incentives
