While the Technology & Maintenance Council is not holding a summer meeting, maintenance, information technology and logistics managers can participate in two international TMC meetings.

TMC Internacional will hold its third annual meeting in Mexico City on Thursday and Friday, July 15-16, in conjunction with the PAACE Automechanica Mexico exposition in the city's new Banamex Center. The theme, "Modernizing Mexican Fleets," will be carried out in numerous technical sessions that cover equipment as well as management practices.
Technical sessions include: Diagnosing and Repairing Trailer Lighting and Wiring Systems; Hydraulic Liftgates - an All-Inclusive Maintenance Program; Excellence in Maintenance Budgeting; Performance of New EGR, ACERT Technology Engines; Maintenance Guidelines for Heavy-Duty Starting and Charging Systems; Guidelines for Analyzing Tire Conditions and Tread Wear; Guidelines for Spec'ing and Maintaining Air Ride Suspensions; Real-World Brake Maintenance; and Improving Maintenance Productivity Through VMRS.
Another popular TMC program on the meeting schedule is Shop Talk, an open and spirited forum in which fleet managers can discuss problems and remedies with equipment, regulations and management practices.
The PAACE Automechanica exhibit will run Wednesday through Friday, July 14 - 16. Information for exhibiting - and meeting sponsorship opportunities - is available from TMC.
A meeting promotion with session descriptions and schedule details is posted on TMC's web site, http://tmc.truckline.com. For registration information, contact TMC at (703) 838-1763.

The TMC Internacional meeting in Canada is scheduled for Nov. 10-12 in the Toronto Congress Centre, Ontario.
