Qualcomm Inc., San Diego, Calif., announced it has worked with Mattingly Foods Inc., to create an automated activity-based payroll solution
that integrates with the FleetAdvisor fleet management system.
The Mattingly Foods fleet delivers to food service industry customers in a 19-state area from Zanesville, Ohio.
The automated, activity-based payroll solution provides business rules for customer-defined operations activities that determine driver pay. The system enables Mattingly Foods to pay or reward drivers based on performance related to idling, overspeeds and over-revs. By linking driver compensation to driver productivity, Mattingly Foods is able to lower fuel costs.
The payroll module includes automated drivers' reimbursements for approved cash-based transactions, which will reduce overpays.
