Old Dominion Freight Line has won six awards out of a possible 24 offered in the Transportation Sales & Marketing Assn.'s (TSMA) Communications Award Competition,
according to Chip Overbey, vice president of National Accounts, Marketing & Education for the North Carolina trucking company.
The TSMA recognized outstanding achievements by transportation professionals for their efforts in sales and marketing promotion.
Old Dominion won first place for its Sales Literature entry; first and second Place in the Specialty Items category; first place in the Over All category; and second place in the Print Advertising category. In addition, TSMA conference attendees selected a Best in Show winner, which was also captured by Old Dominion.
Old Dominion is a less-than-truckload (LTL) super regional carrier providing one to five day service among five regions in the United States and next-day and second-day service within these regions.
